WELCOME TO OUR CITY!
Nestled along the sparkling Kennebec River, our small jewel of a city has the perfect mix of seafaring history, vibrant daily life, and a strong sense of community. Bath was listed as one of the "Best Small Cities in America" and was deemed a "Distinctive Destination" by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

Attention Bath Residents:

Household Hazardous Waste Day will be on Saturday, May 10 from 9am to 1pm. Pre-registration is required; call the Bath Landfill at 443-8356.

Spring Clean-up Week will be from May 12-17 at the Bath Landfill. Residents can dump 1 load metal, 1 load demolition wste, 2 loads brush and 2 tires; all at no cost. Please call the Landfill for details and hours of operation: 443-8356.

Maine's Commute Another Way Week is May 12-16! This is a great opportunity for people to test out a new, cheaper, and more contentious way to get to work. With gas prices so high and emissions as they are, it’s time for our community to check out some alternative modes of transportation. For transport within Bath, the Bath Bus schedule can be found at on this website on the Bath Government page, CityBus link.

The City Treasurer’s Office now has two new drop boxes for customers who do not want to wait in line, or can not make office hours. These are located inside the City Hall on the first floor, and outside on the North side entrance of the building. We hope this will help customers pay their property taxes or other City bills with ease.

For upcoming municipal meetings, please see the calendar at left or click on the Bath Municipal Government Calendar link.

For information related to City Departments, policies, fees, and other municipal information, please see the City Government section.
